SUPERIOR CORROSION RESISTANCE, EXCELLENT ADHESION AND FLEXIBILITY
Aluminum-zinc coated steel is an aluminium-zinc alloy structure composed of aluminum, zinc, and silicon, solidified at a high temperature of 600ºC, forming a dense quaternary crystal alloy of aluminum-iron-silicon-zinc. This premium aluminum - zinc coated steel boasts remarkable characteristics: it offers strong corrosion resistance, surpassing pure zinc-coated steel by three times. The surface features zinc spangles, adding to its appeal. The 55% Al-Zn density is less than Zinc, resulting in an aluminum-zinc coated steel that is more than 3% larger than galvanized steel at the same weight and coating thickness, leading to better economic efficiency.

The exceptional corrosion resistance of Al-Zn coated steel stems from the protective role of aluminum's passivation layer and zinc's sacrificial protection. Zinc acts as sacrificial protection on cut edges, scratches, and abrasions, while aluminum forms an insoluble oxide layer that serves as a barrier. Results from extensive long-term atmospheric exposure tests across various global regions, including rural, industrial, coastal, and harsh marine environments, demonstrate that Al-Zn coating offers 2-6 times higher corrosion resistance than galvanizing, with superior barrier protection.

2. Heat Resistant
The heat resistance of Al-Zn coated steel outperforms Galvanized Steel coil, withstanding high temperatures up to 315°C without discolouration or contamination - a capability beyond the reach of galvanized steel above 230°C. Its high reflective power establishes Al-Zn coated steel as a formidable heat-resistant, high-temperature oxidation barrier.

3. Formability
The Al-Zn coated steel is more robust than a galvanized coating, providing superior adhesion to the base steel while maintaining the same formability. It meets all application requirements, such as molding, stamping and deep-drawing, with ease, achieving the same specified minimum bending radius as galvanized steel.

4. Paintability
Al-Zn coated steel excels in painting applications, owing to its unique coating structure that ensures excellent paint adhesion and ductility, offering unmatched performance.
